Island weather can change quickly.

Tours, shuttles, transfers, and charters may be changed, delayed, or cancelled due to:

  • Road conditions
  • Safety concerns
  • Vehicle availability
  • Local events
  • Operational changes

Transport safety

For transfers and shuttles:

  • Be ready at the confirmed pickup point
  • Keep luggage clear of walkways
  • Follow driver instructions
  • Do not distract the driver
  • Let Te Vaka Group know early about child seats, mobility needs, or large luggage

Tours and cultural experiences

Guests should respect guides, hosts, cultural stories, local sites, and other guests.

Some places may have local protocols, safety rules, or access restrictions.

Private charters and VIP transfers

Private charters and VIP transfers may include custom routes or stops.

Guests should follow the agreed plan unless changes are approved by Te Vaka Group or the driver/guide.

Extra time, waiting time, or route changes may result in additional charges.
