Payment & Security

Te Vaka Group uses secure payment tools to help guests book tours, transfers, shuttles, and private transport services.

Payment methods

For Phase 1, Te Vaka Group may support:

  • Online card payment
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay where available through checkout
  • Manual/admin booking payment where approved by Te Vaka Group

Secure card payments

Card payments may be processed by a secure third-party payment provider.

Te Vaka Group does not intentionally store full card numbers.

Secure Card Processing Fee

Some bookings may include a Secure Card Processing Fee.

This fee may help cover secure online payment processing, card provider costs, payment handling, fraud prevention, and related admin costs.

The final payable amount should be shown clearly before payment.

Booking fees

Some bookings may include a booking fee.

Booking fees help support the Te Vaka booking platform, QR ticketing, guest support, payment tools, and booking administration.

Payment confirmation

A booking is treated as paid only once payment is successfully confirmed.

If payment fails, is cancelled, or is not completed, the booking may not be confirmed.

QR ticket security

Some bookings may generate a QR ticket.

QR tickets help Te Vaka Group verify bookings and check guests in.

Staff, drivers, or guides may scan QR tickets to:

  • Confirm booking details
  • Confirm payment status
  • Mark the guest as checked in
  • Prevent duplicate ticket use

Guests should not share QR tickets publicly.
