An open-air Te Vaka truck for local island trips between your chosen pickup and drop-off points.
Unlike the airport transfer, this is for general island travel on days when you need a ride and the truck can take you.
Choose one-way or return, pick your pickup and drop-off, select date and start time, add passenger and contact details, then pay online.
Availability depends on the truck schedule for your date. The booking form shows open start times when you choose a day.
Pickup and drop-off use fare zones around Rarotonga. Same-zone trips are the lowest fare; cross-island trips cost more.
Start times are offered between 6:00am and 9:00pm when seats are available. Up to 12 passengers can book on a run.
Shuttle fares start from $5 per person for same-zone trips. Avarua to Arorangi is $10 per person. Other zone combinations are $15 per person.
Return bookings charge both legs. Prices are in NZD. Booking and card processing fees are added at checkout.
